How to customize folders

Customize folders

customizing folders isn't a new thing .Most of the people wont waste their time to customize folders,but for others it something  like  adding themselves to that.you know  to feel different from the yellow windows folders.it is not hard to do this ,just some clicks..but you wont get  a masterpiece  in one minute take your time to choose the folder images..even make your own movie theme..like in mobile phones.its all upto you
before you do this you need windows icons(.ICO)
you can download thousands of free .ico icons from  http://www.iconarchive.com/ or http://findicons.com/

step 1. select one folder

step 2.right click and select "properties"

step 3 :click "  change icon from customise tab"

step 4:now a new window will appear.clock browse

step 5:after clicking browse button you should show the location  where your icon is(remember if you make any change  this ,the folder icon will reset to default,so i prefer you should put your icons in some where safe and restricted access )

step 5:select an icon

step 6:select icon and click OK

step 6:select" Ok"
